Super impressed by Shane's Trees today with dream team Gabriel, Theo, Tom and Alex who provided superior service, care, and professionalism in removing a challenging jacaranda tree from our property today. The tree removal was council-approved due to poor condition of the tree (had dropped 4 and 5m branches and posed safety hazard). The team from Shane's Trees offered exceptional service throughout, with easy allocation of booking time, on-time arrival, and meticulous attention to safety and tree care from start to finish. The gentlemen who arrived today were super nice and personable, and focused on getting the job done right and well. They left the whole area completely spotless after the job was finished. Would definitely recommend Shane's Trees for any job - thanks again to the team for their wonderful professionalism and service!

Shane’s trees were fabulous, from the beginning to the end. I interviewed six different companies and they were the standout - organised, professional, punctual, knowledgeable to name but a few of their qualities.Our tree removal was complex and large - a crane had to be used and the massive branches had to be moved over our pool and conservatory to the sidewalk where it was cut up. A risky job. The skill on display was extraordinary. And they left the place clean and in order - not a stray branch or leaf to be seen.

Got 6 cubes of firewood delivered, was probably a little bit more than 6 cubes as it worked out to be just under 5 cube stacked very tight and I assure you that’s wayyyy more than others usually deliver so absolutely no complaints here. Quick to acknowledge, inspect and provide a quotation, advice and credentials. Indicated Council approval was required for one tree before proceeding, which was complied with. We thought the quote was a little high, however the professionalism of the team inspired confidence. A well equipped team turned up on time and the job was completed in half the time expected. Extremely excited about the job Jamie and his team provided yesterday. So quickly and easy they had a massive gumtree down. I was a bit worried about seeing heavy machinery on my neighbours block. They used mats to protect the ground, concrete from damage. Cleaned up after like nothing happened. I would highly recommend Shanes Trees service.

Shane's trees responded very quickly to our request for a quote which we were pleased to be able to accept. Tbe team came along promptly to remove the tree but then a halt occurred as the machinery was faulty. It was repaired and the team returned to remove roots. However they missed 5 big roots and had to return again to do the necessary. I must add that all members of the teams we were in contact with were polite, courteous and professional. I would certainly recommend Shane's trees.

I am very happy with Shane's trees professional jobs. I have two very tall palm trees beside my swimming pool. I rang three companies for quotes. Shane's was the only one could give me the quote and the date they would do and the prices was very reasonable. It took 1.5 hours remove two trees and half an hour to clean up with 4 persons and left no mass. They had good team work and I am highly recommended Shane's tree to anyone.

Great service starting from the site inspection and extending through to the removal of 2 large tall trees and 1 small tree on our property.The team was super quick, efficient and very skilful as our backyard has no access for a crane, so all cutting had to be done by climbing the trees.All material was carefully hand carried from the back of the property to the truck at the front with no damage.When the team started mulching the wood, I thought that half of our suburb would be covered in debris and dust, but the site and surroundings were left clean and tidy.And the entire Team was polite and friendly.Thank you!

I came across this company as I do strata reports for purchasers and vendors. We needed a 25 meter camphor laurel removed so after getting several quotes the strata committee chose Shanes Trees. Well they arrived a 7.00am this morning and they have just finished the huge clean up at 1.30pm. This is our second time using Shane’s trees to deal with the absolutely massive hedges in our backyard. The team were so friendly, and did a great job. They checked in with us several times to make sure everything was to our liking, great communication. Even went back over part of their work after I said I’d like it shorter. Also took care of some excess green waste we had from us doing our own hedge and tree pruning out front. And they left everything neat and tidy. Top quality service!! Amazing service, best I have seen. Needed a neighbours overhanging tree trimmed down. Attachedbefore and after photos. Photos don't do it justice how much was cut and how high this tree was. Anything overhanging was cut. Great priced, and once I booked, team of 4 came out next day 7am, were done by 8am and cleaned up too. Will definitely recommend! And definitely be using again if I need any similar work done.

The whole team at Shane's Trees did an excellent job at removing my pencil pine trees. On time, fairly priced and very professional from quoting process to the actual job, even persevering on in the 10 minute freak rain! I have some small plants around the trees that are not removable and the boys managed to take care and not damage them. If you're looking to pay them in cash after the job though, make sure you request in advance for them to carry a receipt. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in future!

Earlier today, Wollongong crew from Shane’s trees started the tree removal and trimming work in my backyard at 1 Karnu place, Kareela. They did a very professional and thorough job with safety. Macca was brilliant with his skill and climbed up the trees with his harness on. I was supervising the whole operation as this was my first experience with the company and it never felt unsafe for a moment. Macca was supervised by his crew members at all times and was fully supported by other 3 members. The crew were polite and asked if I was happy with the work they were undertaking. They had the right equipment and safety gears which I was happy about. My overall experience with Shanes tree from the initial inspection to the job completion was brilliant! My dealings with Aaron, pre inspection person, Joshua, Ben and Wollongong crew was very satisfactory. We have an huge old gum tree in our back yard that was dropping branches & lumps of mistletoe and was a danger to my 94 years old father. The crew of Shane's trees came and removed all the dead dangerous timber and cleaned the tree up and made it safe. My Dad can now use his back yard safely. Awesome experience from quote to completion. I have a huge jacaranda tree in the front yard over hanging my 1920's house. Dropping leaves on the roof, blocking the gutters to my water tank. Problem solved & more sunlight on my lawn. They also removed branches touching my power lines. Very safe & efficient with a cherry picker, & a nice bunch of blokes. Shane's Trees were by the far the best, easiest and most pleasant arborists to deal with. When we found a very large gum was dying and posing a threat to our house we had a few businesses come and quote. The guys from Shane's Trees were the only ones to be on time and provide a very competitive quote. They even went as far to take the time to explain in detail the reasons behind the dying tree - turns out it suffered from Bracket Fungus (I had never even heard of that before). We ended up getting a few more trees pruned including a very tall gum tree. None of what we needed done was a problem to these guys. We accepted their quote and had all the works done the same day. I had heard stories of arborists not cleaning up after themselves, but these guys not only had all the work done in one day, but they cleaned up so well that it was like we had no work done at all. Every bloke on the job site were super friendly and helpful. They were all cheery and it really looked like they love the work they do and take great pride in their craft. If we ever need more work done we will not bother looking around for anyone else, we'll be calling Shane's trees again. Could not be happier and will 100% definitely be recommending the boys. If you’re looking for an EXPERIENCED, HONEST, and FAIR PRICED arborist, then don’t call anyone else but SHANES TREES.We called a number of arborist’s in the area to visit our home to quote the removal of a 60 yr old grey gum tree, and some additional smaller trees. Ben came over the same day I called for a quote, was extremely professional, and honest with what he could and couldn’t do. He took the time to explain the process and was one of the only companies to get back to me within a day with a price that was below what others had quoted me. My experience with trades people in the past hasn’t been great, however I have to say that the level of service, we have received with Shanes Tress, has been amazing. Communication on timeframes to complete the job were excellent, the work they did, well exceeded our expectations and I’m so glad that we chose them for the job. Even my father in law commented on how good there were on our site.Thanks again Ben and Matt, I know where to go if I have any future needs, and I will no doubt be recommending you, to the people I know. Absolutely brilliant! The team at Shane's Trees recently removed a truly enormous tree from a very confined area in our backyard. The tree was overhanging 10 neighbouring properties and the only access in and out was via a long 1m wide laneway. The service was outstanding, with excellent communication from the team both in the lead up to removing the tree and during the removal process. The team went above and beyond, cleaning all of the neighbour's back yards thoroughly prior to leaving. There was no damage to any property during what is surely one of the most difficult tree removal jobs you could imagine.The quote for the job was extremely reasonable given the significant degree of difficulty and huge amount of waste that needed to be removed. They had up to 8 men on site working in order to get the job done as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to ourselves and our neighbours.Would highly recommend their service to anyone.

My husband and I do long hours and could not be at our home in Engadine for this job. The Shane’s Trees crew arranged to tie up our dogs “Bulvai” and “Zalie” while they worked. They fed them before they left and the apprentice stayed with them until we got home. Our yard was cleaner than when we left for work. Pat the apprentice cleaned up leaf litter from another tree while he waited for us to get home.I wish we could find other tradesman this amazing.

Ella and the team were fantastic. They were the first to respond, turn up 7am next morning to inspect the tree and provide an electronic quote thereafter within 30 mins of visiting. The team were then flexible with my need to coordinate the removal of the tree with my sister who travelled interstate to take my elderly mother out for the day. Plus accommodate a last minute change to the quote to remove the offending branch leaning against the balcony and house, instead of the tree. Consequently my mother has not noticed minimising the trauma for everyone in the family.
